Who We Are

SetlistBuilder is operated by Transport Beat B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands (KvK 85389595), which is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests go to support@setlistbuilder.nl.

Your Account

When you sign up, we collect:

• Your email address (to sign in and contact you)
• A username you choose (to display to band members)
• Your password (stored securely encrypted, we can't read it)
• When you accepted the Terms of Use, and which version

Your Music Content

Everything you create in SetlistBuilder is stored so you can access it anytime:

• Bands you create or join
• Songs with their details (title, artist, tempo, key, lyrics, notes)
• Setlists and how you organize them
• Practice schedules and notes
• Shared links you create for clients or audiences

Security & Login Information

To keep your account safe, we track:

• When you log in (to show you your recent activity)
• Failed login attempts (to detect if someone is trying to break in)
• Your IP address and general location (country/region, to spot suspicious activity)
• What browser or device you're using (to help with troubleshooting)

This helps us protect your account from unauthorized access and block attackers.

How You Use the App

We collect basic usage information to improve SetlistBuilder:

• Which pages you visit
• How the app performs (loading times, errors)

We don't use third-party tracking tools like Google Analytics. This data stays with us.

Optional Connections

Music Data Services

When you add songs, we can automatically look up tempo (BPM), musical key, and lyrics from these services:

• GetSongBPM (for tempo and key)
• LRCLIB (for lyrics)
• YouTube (for video links)

We send the song title and artist to these services to find the right information.

Subscriptions and Payments

Plus and Pro plans are bought as subscriptions inside the iOS and Android app, through Apple's App Store or Google Play.

• Apple and Google take the payment and hold your payment details. We never see your card or bank details. Their own privacy policies apply to that.
• RevenueCat processes the store receipts for us and tells us whether a subscription is active. It receives your account id and the purchase details, nothing else about you.
• We store which plan you have, the product bought, when it renews or ends, and a store transaction reference, so the web app and the mobile app both know what you have paid for.

This data is kept for as long as your account exists, and is deleted with it. We keep a log of subscription events for our own bookkeeping.

Emails We Send

We send emails for:

• Band invitations from other members
• Password reset requests
• Welcome message when you sign up

We use Resend to deliver emails and track whether they were delivered successfully.

Mobile App

If you use our mobile app:

• Your login stays saved securely on your device
• Songs and setlists can be saved offline so you can use them without internet
• We sync your data when you're back online

Cookies

We use cookies only for essential things:

• Keeping you logged in (for up to 30 days)
• Remembering your preferences

No advertising or tracking cookies. We don't follow you around the internet.

Who Can See Your Data

• Your band members can see songs and setlists in bands you share
• People with share links can see what you specifically share with them
• We (the SetlistBuilder team) can access data for support and fixing issues
• Nobody else. We never sell your data

Where We Store Your Data

All your data is stored on secure servers in the European Union, protected by encryption and regular backups.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: See all data we have about you
• Export: Download your songs and setlists
• Delete: Remove your account and all associated data

Delete Your Account

You can delete your SetlistBuilder account and its data yourself, at any time:

• In the app (iOS and Android): tap your avatar on the Dashboard, choose Account, then Delete account.
• On the web: open the menu under your avatar, choose Account Settings, then Delete Account.
• By email: write to support@setlistbuilder.nl from the address you signed up with, and we delete it for you within 30 days.

Deleting removes you from every band and deletes your personal data, plus any band where you are the only member, with its songs, setlists and stage plans. If you are the only admin of a band that has other members, hand the admin role to someone else first, so the band stays with them. The log of subscription events is kept for our bookkeeping, as described above.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in the store first, or it keeps renewing.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or a notice in the app.
